There are a number of different beliefs pertaining to what we believe the future holds for the church. Every so often someone predicts the return of Christ and is found to be a liar. But I believe Scripture gives us some indications of when He will return. The biggest clue is revealed in the words of angels as Jesus ascended into heaven: “This same Jesus will return in like manner as you saw him go up into heaven.” Jesus just finished giving the Great Commission. Could the return of Christ be directly tied to the fulfillment of the Great Commission? ...Could be!
